Man Utd want Cunha from Wolves - Tuesday's gossip



 Manchester United want to sign Matheus Cunha, Inter Miami plot Kevin de Bruyne scoop and Everton enter race for Liam Delap.

Manchester United are interested in signing Wolves and Brazil forward Matheus Cunha, 25, whose £62.5m release clause will become active this summer. (Talksport)

Tottenham Hotspur will not sign RB Leipzig and Germany striker Timo Werner, 29, on a permanent transfer once his loan deal expires this summer. 

Chelsea are no longer interested in signing Napoli and Nigeria striker Victor Osimhen, 26, this summer, leaving Manchester United as his main suitor. 

Inter Miami plan to offer Manchester City and Belgium midfielder Kevin de Bruyne, 33, a contract this summer but face competition from Saudi Arabian sides. 

England Under-21 winger Jamie Gittens, 20, wants to leave Borussia Dortmund this summer. Several Premier League clubs are interested. 

Everton and Brighton have joined the race to sign Ipswich and England U21 striker Liam Delap, 22, whose £40m release clause will become active if Ipswich are relegated from the Premier League.

Fiorentina will activate a one-year extension in the contract of Spanish goalkeeper David de Gea, 34, keeping the former Manchester United player until June 2026. 

Leicester City are set to sack manager Ruud van Nistelrooy after a run of eight straight defeats. 

Bayer Leverkusen are interested in Brentford and Netherlands goalkeeper Mark Flekken, 31, with the Bees wanting about 15m euros (£12.8m).
